Educational field trip to India for UK students

This exciting opportunity to take part in a 2-week educational and cultural awareness field trip to India is open to any UK University student who is studying a health or related course.

This trip will enable you to learn about health care in India through an experiential learning process. So, instead of lectures, we will provide opportunities for you to experience the real world of health and enable you to meet with health care providers in Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs), hospitals, health centres and community development projects. There will also be opportunities to interact with the public and see the different and often innovative ways in which health is being addressed in India.

In addition, you’ll have time to visit places of historical and cultural interest e.g. the Taj Mahal, the Red Fort, a visit to the President’s House, and Jaipur’s famous Pink City! You will also learn some introductory Hindi, have fun learning Indian dance, and enhance your own health and wellbeing through yoga and meditation.*

Stride Education (India) have been coordinating these field trips for UK students since 2015. You will be expertly guided by staff from Stride Education, as well as UK academics who will accompany you throughout the programme.
